What is a UV DTF Sticker?

UV DTF (Direct-to-Film) is a printing method that combines UV-cured inks with a specialized transfer film. Unlike traditional vinyl stickers, these act more like "ink decals."

• The Finish: It has a slightly raised, 3D embossed feel and a high-gloss shine.

• The Durability: It is waterproof, scratch-resistant, and doesn’t fade easily in sunlight.

• The Application: There is no background or "clear border." When you rub it onto a surface and peel the carrier sheet away, only the ink remains. It looks like the design was printed directly onto the object.

How to Apply It

Applying a UV DTF transfer is incredibly simple and requires no heat press or special equipment:

1. Clean: Wipe the surface (glass, metal, hard plastic, etc.) with alcohol to remove oils.

2. Peel: Remove the backing paper from the sticker.

3. Position: Place the sticker carefully (the adhesive is very strong, so you usually only get one shot!).

4. Squeegee: Rub the design firmly with your thumb or a credit card to ensure it bonds.

5. Peel Again: Slowly peel off the clear top transfer tape.

Things to Keep in Mind

• Hard Surfaces Only: These work best on "hard" substrates like glass, ceramic, metal, and wood. They are not meant for fabric or clothing.

• Permanent Adhesive: These stickers are designed to stay put. While they can be removed with effort and heat, they aren't meant to be "repositioned" once applied.
